Our national association is comprised of smaller buying groups, regional sub-chapters, independents, and other trade organizations under one blanket that consist of over 50,000 operators controlling over 80,000 locations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Currently, there are approximately a little over 152,000 C-stores in the country.

The simple answer is that through our network of retailers and affiliates we represent a buying power that is unsurpassed within our key niche. Since 2003 with the assistance of AATAC PARTNERS, this national council has been aligning itself with quality suppliers and industry partners that will grow with us as we help grow our members businesses.


How are AATAC members informed about the newest products and services that our partner companies have available for them?

Our members are educated about all potentially beneficial ventures via a multitude of strategies that AATAC has set in place including:

  • AATAC distributes partnership announcements to our registered members about with info about our newest partners
  • Our email blasts, newsletters, and in-store support materials help to inform and educate owners about available opportunities.
  • We host private meetings throughout the country to educate our members about important industry updates as well as new products & services.

Our trade shows are designed to allow our members to interact with companies they will do business with, encompassed in a buyers event atmosphere.


Why does AATAC want partners?

Since the unification of the various sub- groups that comprise AATAC we have actively searched out and partnered ourselves with entities we feel would benefit our association as a whole. Partners are tasked with the duty of providing quality and consistency to our retail owners. Also, by helping AATAC to educate our retailers we believe that a more streamlined and efficient way of doing business will shape itself into a vessel that will carry our association and partners through to the most profitable business years that lay ahead.

Located on the front page of our national website is a field called “Question Of The Day” (QOD). Each day we post a different question about the products and services that are presented through our website. The answer to this question can be found on one of our partner’s web pages. Our members will navigate through the preferred vendors page to find the answer to your question while subconsciously educating themselves about your company! AATAC effectively selects members who answer the question correctly to win rewards which include; rebates, complimentary services, cash, promotional offers from vendors, prizes, giveaways, etc. *Your QOD should be 1-2 sentences in length and can not name a specific product or company within the question.
