World Fuel Services Acquires Pester Marketing

MIAMI — World Fuel Services Inc. has purchased 100% of the equity securities of Pester Marketing Co. and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Alta Fuels LLC and Alta Transportation LLC. Pester Marketing operates 57 convenience stores in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and New Mexico.

Denver-based Pester Marketing also operates two terminals and a distributor of biofuels and lubricants to wholesale, commercial and agricultural customers. The company also transports motor fuels to certain Pester retail stores and to the wholesale, commercial and agricultural customers it supplies.

With headquarters in Miami, World Fuel Services is a global fuel logistics, transaction management and payment processing company principally engaged in the distribution of fuel and related products and services in the aviation, marine and land transportation industries. World Fuel Services sells fuel and delivers services to its clients at more than 8,000 locations in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.

Matrix Capital Markets Group Inc., Richmond, Va., provided merger and acquisition advisory services to Pester Marketing.
