PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – Crompco LLC, a leading provider of underground storage tank (UST) compliance testing services, advanced meter calibrations and associated information management systems, has acquired Quality Nozzle Co., Bethel, Conn., it announced.

Quality Nozzle has specialized in the servicing of hanging hardware for gasoline retailers since 1975. Brian Ripley, vice president of marketing, will remain with Crompco as director of customer development.

“We have always admired and worked well with the unique service model of Quality Nozzle,” said Bob Dee, president of Crompco. “By joining forces, Crompco will now have the ability to provide additional services to our widespread customer base while continuing to deploy the expertise of the more than 25 independent franchisees that make up the Quality network of distributors. Additionally, our goal is to broaden Quality Nozzle franchisee’s depth of expertise by providing them with more opportunities to service their existing customers with our extensive and ever-growing array of services.”

During the past several decades, the list of product lines and services offered by Quality Nozzle Company has grown steadily. Similar to Crompco, they currently provide services to a vast array of customers—from the single location operator to the country’s largest gasoline retailers.

Following the acquisition, Crompco will change the name of Quality Nozzle to Quality Petro Services.

Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based Crompco also specializes in advanced meter calibrations (AccuMeasure), vault information management software, light construction and aboveground storage tanks and cathotic protection system testing services.
