Sunoco, Cardtronics Renew ATM Services Agreement
PHILADELPHIA — Sunoco Inc. has renewed its ATM services agreement with Cardtronics Inc., adding a long-term extension to a 15-year relationship between the two companies.
Houston-based Cardtronics is the world’s largest retail ATM owner and operator.
Cardtronics currently owns and operates approximately 700 ATMs for Sunoco Inc. in 15 eastern states, primarily under the APlus convenience store banner. APlus retail locations covered under this agreement participate in Allpoint Network, Cardtronics’ surcharge-free ATM network.
Cardtronics said it looks forward to growing with Sunoco as their footprint expands.
“Renewals speak to positive business relationships, which Sunoco and Cardtronics have shared for many years,” said David Dove, president of the North American Business Group at Cardtronics. “As we have in the past, Cardtronics will continue providing the valuable service of convenient cash access to APlus customers and driving foot traffic in the process.”
Philadelphia-based Sunoco Inc., wholly owned by Energy Transfer Partners LP, markets motor fuels through more than 4,800 Sunoco-branded locations in 26 states. Sunoco Inc. also has more than 650 APlus branded convenience stores which are company-operated or operated by third-party dealers. It is the world’s largest manufacturer and marketer of race fuels and is the official fuel of INDYCAR and NASCAR.
