Mandeltort to Lead Foodservice Strategy at Eby-Brown

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Mat Mandeltort is now vice president of foodservice strategy and education for convenience-store distributor Eby-Brown.

Mandeltort, previously corporate foodservice manager, will be responsible for providing the strategic direction for all Eby-Brown foodservice programs, and creating a cohesive foodservice brand and marketing strategy to strategically align Eby-Brown with other best-in-class national foodservice providers.

Mandeltort has been with Eby-Brown since January 2014. He has over 20 years of experience in the foodservice industry. He will report to Joe Roenna, executive vice president of merchandising.

Naperville, Ill.-based Eby-Brown is the largest family-owned wholesale distributor in the convenience-store industry. It owns and operates six distribution centers throughout the Midwest and Southeast.
