Lykins Helps Build Fairgrounds Pavilion
MILFORD, Ohio — Lykins Energy Solutions has donated most of the funds to build a new Clermont County Fairgrounds building. The Lykins Family Pavilion is a new entertainment pavilion at the fairgrounds.
The company held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new building on July 30.
The previous entertainment pavilion was in the middle of the midway and required using a tent that was expensive and made the area very hot due to a lack of circulation. The original pavilion, due to its popularity and location, also made the midway congested and hard to move in, according to fair board member Jerry Bridges.
The new Lykins Family Pavilion is located on the far end of the State Route 132 side of the fairgrounds.
“Going to the county fair with our parents is one of my earliest childhood memories,” said Jeff Lykins, president and CEO of Lykins Energy Solutions. “We’ve always felt we should give back to the community that supports our business by buying our products and services. This is a great way for our family and our company to give back to our community and its residents.”
Bridges said the new pavilion will bring additional, much needed revenue to the fairgrounds. With the new facility, the fairgrounds will be able to host weekly concerts.
